Bendy and the Dark Revival: A Hugely underrated improvement.

Bendy and the Ink Machine chapter 1 was release February 10th, 2017. While simple, BATIM chapter 1 was a blink-and-you'll-miss-it horror experience. However, as the months went on, BATIM became more and more popular, to the point where its creators, The Meatly, decided to create 4 more new chapters over the course of 2017. The game eventually peaked in popularity when it was called "The Queen of Mascot Horror." The Meatly, after this amazing accomplishment, announced a sequel they called "Bendy and the Dark Revival."

Four years later, BATDR released...

So, did BATDR hold up to hype that eventually dwindled over the years? Yes, and it was even better than the original, maybe even twice as better. In 2022's game awards, BATDR won for the most outstanding visual style, and let me tell you, it was beautiful to look at.

And that's not all, the new models and writing is stellar! I won't go into too much detail as I don't want to spoil the game in too many ways. The Puzzles and Mechanics are so cool to play around with! The animation and sound design were also amazing! While there are better, these definitely hold up even 8 months later!

Though, I can't give this game just praise. There are a few problems...

For example, in BATIM, a lot of people complained about the lack of fighting mechanics, even though you do fight enemies. While many expected The Meatly to fix this problem, you still can only swing your weapon. However, this time, while going through the game, you can unlock power up's like a super-dash, banish, and teleport to get out of stick situations!

BATDR is only 30 dollars on steam, so if you can, you should give it a try!
