The Owl House is the new best Disney show

SPOILERS FOR THE OWL HOUSE

The Owl House follows the geeky huma Luz Noceda as he finds a magic portal and travels to the Boiling Isles, a dimension where magic, demons, witches, and short people exist. 

While it does just seem like a generic witch show, the Owl House is much more than thay. It’s GAY! (Sparkle emoji)

This brings me to my first point, except it doesn’t because this point is unrelated. The characters are amazingly well done, it's astonishing. While many people may have said Gravity falls is the best Disney show, you’re wrong. It’s a close second. However, this show’s characters are much better. For example, there’s the Golden Guard, also known as Hunter. He starts off as an obedient servant and nephew to the tyrant Emperor Belos. He continues to get involved with Luz Noceda, and eventually the two get trapped in Belos’ mind. Inside, Hunter gets TWAMA when he finds out that all the golden guards before him were known as Grimwalkers, copies of someone that can age, feel pain, and everything a normal person could do. Belos has killed the past golden guards because they ‘betrayed him.’ Belos now tries to kill Hunter, but is saved by Luz and the two escape. In the end, Hunter runs away into the forest after getting this Twama. Hunter is taught by Luz’s friend Gus how to calm himself down and he eventually joins their friend group. Hunter is cool.

Next, is the story. Season one starts off as a monster-of-the-week kind of show, where Luz and her mentor go off fighting monsters, body swapping, and turning lesbian. However, in the second season, the story kicks in as Belos prepairs for his day of unity, where he will kill everyone on the boiling isles in one fell swoop. The foreshadowing, monologues, and overall plot are so interesting and ingating that it's impressive. While Gravity Falls makes most of its story through ARGs and puzzles, I believe that the Owl House’s story is better because it is more straightforward. You don’t have to stop and think, you can just watch and let the madness unfold.

However, the Owl House was cut short because Disney is Homophobic. This didn’t stop the show’s creator, Dana Terrace, from knocking it out of the park with its ending, which I won’t spoil. Overall, this show really stands out with taking risks and getting a laugh out of everyone. It even has a 100% on rotten tomatoes, JUST LIKE GRAVITY FALLS DUDES… that proves it’s good.

Bro I cried when I was watching the ending. It's so good… go watch it now…
