This article is actually a few week late, but as of 7/29/24, you can now play an early (and unpolished) version of Space Worm on Windows, Linux, or Mac. This game has been promised on the Deanster Games website for months, so we're glad to inform you that you can play test it now. When it's finished, it will be released on a few more platforms, but until then, it's restricted to desktop. Remember, this is an unfinished game. There will be bugs and the cutscenes will be mostly unanimated or in an early stage of animation, so this version isn't representative of the final game. In this early access beta release, there are features such as bug reporting and sending feedback in the pause menu of the game. Sending feedback or reporting some bugs could get you into the credits of the final game!

Advice for those who are downloading:
I would highly recommend downloading the Itch app and then installing Space Worm through the app by searching "Space Worm" and clicking on it. It will make the game easier to install, it will automatically notify you after every update, and it makes updates far easier to download (while replacing the original version).
